What is daVincis.com online ordering?
|
|
daVinci's Online Ordering is a no-cost, no-obligation service that allows you to order food from your local daVinci's restaurant using a web browser. Upon you placing an order, it is automatically sent to the daVinci's restaurant you select. An email is immediately sent back to you confirming your order has been received.
|
What are the benefits of online ordering?
|
|
Our customers tell us that they prefer online ordering for four reasons:
- Convenient. "I can access the entire menu just as it is in the store, change my stored information like which store will deliver to me, and add multiple addresses, such as home or the office."
- Accurate. "I can double check my order to make sure it's correct and submit special instructions. The review screen shows me exactly what I ordered, how much each item is and what my total will be when the delivery arrives."
- Self-paced. "I don't feel rushed trying to decide what to order and it takes me through step-by-step."
- Quick. "I can use Your Usual Order, which is my last online order I placed, and submit it. This just takes a couple of minutes."

How do I use daVincis.com Online Ordering?
|

After you have clicked "Order Online", you just need to select "Place an Order". You're then taken to "daMenu" where each item is listed and you can select a product category. You can select which toppings you would like, what sizes, what types of breads, and add or subtract any ingredients to that item. Once you have finished selecting your quantity, toppings, and other choices, click "Add To My Order" to add that product to your order (or shopping cart). If you want to add more products to your order, click "Return to daMenu". Continue ordering in the same fashion as noted above. When have finished adding all the items to your order, you then review the entire order. Click "Complete this Order" after you have verified your order. Next, you are asked to log into your account with your email and password (new users will have to set up a new account). This will take you to a confirmation screen verifying your address information, the delivery store, and provide any special instructions. If all the information is correct, simply click "Continue with this Order" followed by a final confirmation screen to allow for any last minute changes. Click "Submit Order" and your order will immediately be forwarded to local daVinci's restaurant you selected.

We use your registration information about where you live, your phone number and email to process your order quickly, deliver to that address, and contact you about your order should we need to. As a member, you can order online any time without having to re-enter your delivery and account information. You will also be able to access "Usual Order" which allows you to place the same order that you did last time -- truly maximizing the benefits of ordering online.

Can I view the menu or restaurant locations without registering?
|
|
Yes, on daVinci's home page you can access the menu by clicking "Menu". You can also search for restaurants in the Restaurant category under "locations". However, to complete an order you must first register as a daVinci's online customer.

When I place an online order, are the same menu items available online as they are in the store when I call?
|
|
Yes, all the items available in each individual store location are available for online ordering. However, minor discrepancies are indicated where needed.
|
Can I place an order for a certain delivery time?
|
|
On the Order Confirmation page, you can select a specific time you would like your order to be delivered. Note, however, that it must be at least 90 minutes from the time the order is placed. If you would like your order to be delivered as soon as it is ready, simply leave the order time section blank and your order confirmation e-mail will list your estimated delivery time.

Can I place an order for a future date?
|
|
Yes, a future order can be placed for any time our restaurants are open. Please indicate this is for a future date in the "special instructions" area.

Can I place an order if the restaurant is not open yet?
|
|
Yes, but no deliveries will be made before 11am. unless they have been prearranged.

What is Your Usual Order?
|
|
"Your Usual Order" allows you to quickly place an online order based on the last one you submitted; you can modify, add and subtract items, or simply submit your favorite daVinci's items.

How do I know my order is submitted?
|
|
The Checkout Page is the last step before actually submitting your order. Here, we give you all the details of your order, delivery location and store information so you can make any last-minute changes before the order is sent. To continue, click "Submit". If you are not yet a member, or you are but have not logged in yet, you will be taken through a quick registration or login process. The estimated delivery time is provided in the confirmation email sent to you. If you do not receive an email with in 10 minutes of placing your order, please contact the restaurant directly to verify your order has been received.

How do I change my e-mail address and/or other account information?
|

To change your e-mail address, select the option titled "Order Online". Next choose "Login". You will be asked to enter your email address and password. You will then be presented a screen on which you can update your address, phone number, email address information and password. Make the appropriate changes, click "Update" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Forgot your password?
|
|
Fill in the online form with your email address and username and we'll send your password back to you right away so you will still be able to place an order.

Do I have to setup separate accounts to order from two different locations?
|
|
daVinci's Online allows you to maintain multiple locations under a single user login. If you order from more than one location (i.e. home and work), you can setup multiple locations by going to the MY ACCOUNT page and clicking on "Add New Location".

The Order Summary page confirms that your order has been sent and is being transferred to the restaurant. Check your email to verify the restaurant has received your order and to get the actual time your order will be ready.

How do I cancel or change an order?
|
|
To cancel or change an order, you must contact the store at which you placed the order directly by phone. The phone number for the store for which you placed the order will appear on your order confirmation e-mail. As with phone orders, it is important to notify the store of any changes to your order as soon as possible. Please note, we are unable to accept order changes or cancellations online or by e-mail.

What do I do if there is a problem with my pizza/order?
|

If you encounter a problem with your order, whether placed by phone or online, directly contact your local daVinci's by phone. The phone number appears on the order confirmation e-mail, as well as on the top of the daVinci's online web pages after you have logged in. Please note, we are unable to accept order changes or cancellations online or by e-mail.

How do I know when my order will arrive or be ready for pick-up?
|
|
The estimated delivery time is provided in the confirmation e-mail sent to you. This is based on information automatically provided by your local store at the time the order was received.
|
Can you guarantee these prices?
|
|
We work very hard to keep our menus up to date. The restaurant may call you directly by phone to let you know of a price difference should one occur. If the price is more than you want to pay, you can change or cancel your order at that time. If this happens, please let us know, so we can update our information.
|
How do I select toppings to be on just one half of a pizza?
|
|
To order a topping on just one half or the other of a pizza, click on the "Half-and-Half" in the pizza section. All ingredients selected as "Side 1" will be put on one half of the pizza, while ingredients selected as "Side 2" will be put on the other half of the pizza. Note: we currently do not support double toppings, extra cheese, or a different base sauce to be ordered only on one half of a pizza.

How do I order Specialty pizzas?
|
|
If you are placing an order for a specialty pizza, simply go to the pizza page. All our Gourmet Specialty and Combo Pizzas are listed. Just click on the link associated with the specialty pizza you would like. After you have selected the pizza you will be presented with a drop-down list of pizza types above the ingredient section where you may select from the list of available specialty pizzas for that item.

Can I change what toppings are on a Specialty pizza?
|
|
Yes. In order to do so, all you need to do is click on the items you would like to add or take away. Once you have made your changes to that pizza, simply click "Add To Order" and your changes will be saved. Please note that although you will not be charged for removing toppings, there may be additional charges for adding toppings and or substituting certain toppings.
